dbutz
with all the free agent qb's now on the market the patriots might be lucky to get a second for bledsoe and his hugh contract
JimboDaMan
Oh, and there's gonna be some winners in the bunch. Trouble is picking the right guy. Just ask the Ravens and the Bucs about last year's big signings.
Cskin
I think you have to look at the most consistent guys in the bunch. And more specifically, how the QB fits in your system.

Bledsoe - Franchise QB but brittle. Works best in a more verticle offense because of his slow release... needs offense designed by one Norv Turner

Dilfer - Tough, durable, and a winner. Works best in a more controlled, high percentage offense. Not necessarily the West Coast offense, but a more verticle derrivative.

Grbac - Inconsistent and streaky. Flourished in the West Coast offense which focuses on the T.E. He has lost his confidence to lead a team.

Blake - Wildcard with strong arm and intangibles. Seemed to do much with little talent around him. I can't imagine how well he would have played had he had a solid OL and running game.

Rob Johnson - Reputation built in one game, injury prone. Although he has had success in the Bills organization, he tends to hold the ball to long and gets punished in the pocket. Simply put, a situational guy and career back-up

If I had my way... I'd sign Dilfer on the pretense that he has to earn the starting job. Next, I'd sign Blake and spend all offseason insuring that he understands the offense and it's nuances.

So...

#Dilfer - Won't happen....see above
#Blake - He'll be signed next week... 3Yr deal with small signing bonus and incentives

Cskin
If your Blake or his agent, the grass (literally since the Bills play on Turf) looks greener in DC with one of the most brilliant offensive minds in the game. If I had to choose, I'd be thinking about the yards and T.D.'s I'm going to amass playing in DC. Plus, Spurrier's a winner and will take DC to the promise land. bulldog
The Bills have nothing going for them. Everyone who was someone on that team, on the field and in the front office has departed.

You are looking at Eric Moulds and a team of nobodies, youngsters and draft picks.

You put that and the weather in Buffalo together and you won't see many free agents sign there unless the money is downright irresistible.

And we all know that Ralph Wilson has that first dollar he made still in his wallet.
baralufficus
Like it or not ....but i think we will get Chandler.....this is our best option , i feel....he has a very acurate , and strong arm ....if we can protect him, he would have a break out year with the Skins .... NavyDave
Havemt rubbed my girls belly yet but the ideaof us getting blake excites Dave and we could put a cap on it by getting a Run stuffing pocket collapsing DT named after my beer of choice.
