Popeman38 Posted August 6, 2012 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Did anyone catch the 2011 NFL Yearbook for the Dallas Cowboys over the weekend leading up to the HoF Game? Well, they identified the safety position as an issue for the team last year, and how Jerry Jones has gone out of his way to shore that position up by signing one of the best FA safteies on the market in Brodney Pool. The addition of Pool and Brandon Carr made the Dallas secondary one of the best in the league after being a weakness last season. Lo and behold, Dallas cut Brodney Pool today. Now why in the world would the Dallas Cowboys cut one of the best available FA safeties? Because he got beat out in practice by Barry Church.
