3 Rings Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 ---------- Post added January-5th-2012 at 06:10 PM ---------- Funny how for years everyone has screamed about building through the draft while year in and year out we have watched out front office trade away our picks and sign every over the hill free agent available.That hasnt worked....Now we have a coach and GM that are trying to build this team up and establish a solid youthful foundation through the draft and now everyone is screaming to trade away picks for a rookie messiah. So we can go back to no draft picks and signing free agents to fill the roster. Tooo many Daniel Snyder wanna be's here! Nowhere did I contradict myself. I said it is time to make a play for one of the two most ELITE QB's to enter the draft in a long time. I'm NOT predicting that QB will be a star. You can't do that with ANY qb. We have used a late pick on 2nd tier QB's in the draft (Campbell, Ramsay) FAIL....we have signed countless veteran QB's (do I have to list them?) We watched Vick wipe us off the court We've seen Eli win a Ring We've seen Peyton dominate for almsot 15 yrs We've seen Tom Brady We've seen Big Ben win 2 rings We saw Rodgers win a ring last yr & almost go undefeated. We saw what Stafford can do, when healthy and on and on and on and on What have we done? We traded a 2nd rd pick for brunell under Gibbs We then drafted 3rd round talent JC in the late 1st rd of the draft after a trade up We traded 2nd rd pick for a aging Mcnabb, who didn't want to be a team member...at all. We drafted Ramsey with the last pick in the 1st rd under Spurrier We watched Tony Banks play We even traded picks like the 2nd rounder for J. Taylor for a 1 yr rental and we're worried about moving picks to get a Blue Chip QB for this team? People.. We haven't HAD a true "good" QB since Brad Johnson in 1999. 13 yrs...!! and we didn't even draft him...the only reason we got him, is because their QB stable was crowded with George, Cunningham and Johnson. If you guys enjoy watching us eat the seller floor every season... then ya...lets go get Flynn or trade for some dude... If you want to get this storied franchise BACK! Shoot for the moon! Do EVERYTHING you can, to get Luck or RGlll! I don't even care who... as long as it's one of these 2 guys. ANY other move is unacceptable, imo... We've waited long enough.
