Oldskool
Chris Cook - DB - Vikings Vikings CB Chris Cook was arrested Saturday evening in Lynchburg, Virginia, and charged with pulling out a handgun during a fight with another man. As ProFootballTalk.com point out last month, the league office has no sway over player personal conduct and drug testing during a lockout. They "forfeit" the ability to discipline Cook, so he won't face a suspension. The NFL could attempt to punish Cook retroactively, though he'd have a strong case in dispute. skinsfanindallas88
So if a player smokes weed during the lockout...then tests positive once the lockout ends they cannot punish him?
Leonard Washington
So if a player smokes weed during the lockout...then tests positive once the lockout ends they cannot punish him? I'm sure they can in that case. However if the players start juicing and cycle off at the right time to avoid detection, then they can enjoy the benefits. Stophovr6
So basically they are going to continue to behave badly and just not be punished.

Well, since they no longer have access to the team doctor to help them out with their juicing cycle, they need some other type of help.
