Tom [Giants fan]
Give the Giants D some credit too. They are getting a lot of pressure. Even with their backup D Line on that last one.
SkinInsite
Wow the Pats are just getting worked over. Int return for TD by Sam Adams?

SkinInsite
I'm surprised Giants haven't been able to put up with more points with all those turnovers.
TexasEagle
And Collins gets a sack and fumble. Rams ball. Man this is an ugly game. And I'll give credit to the D for the coverage and what not Tom, but the Rams line is beyond porous. They collapse with the slightest hint of pressure so far. I'd need more than one game to say if I think it's more the Giants D or the Rams line... so I'm not saying anything more than the Rams line sucks at present and the Giants D is looking very good. The Eagles games should be great just like last year. I hope I get to see both of them this year.
Tom [Giants fan]
The Giants lost Petitgout. He was carted off the field. This is going to be a problem.
SkinInsite
Wooo go Marty ball way to gameplan for Holmes.
TexasEagle
Yeah, do you know how long he's out Tom? They haven't said anything on TV yet. Warner's looking like a 5th round rookie right now. Any pressure and he panics like a virgin on prom night.
bulldog
FUMBLE BY WARNER! and Trung Canidate was supposedly the fumbler on the Rams?
Skin Deep
I'm lovin the KC-San Diego score. I can't believe the Bills are up 21-0. I thought that game would be decided like 3-2. Rams are makin this defense look all-world. Man!
SkinInsite
Well Bulger better get ready cause it's getting ugly with Warner in there.
TexasEagle
Houston has a man down.... looks bad, like his knee just blew out. No one touched him. He just dropped on the ground. Well, he's walking. Should be ok. Speaking of Houston, they're hanging in there with the Phins pretty well so far. Much improved from last year. We'll see if they can sustain it for the entire game. bulldog
Giants should be up in this game 21-6 right now instead of 10-6. Warner has played as poorly as anyone could have expected. Fassel has to be concerned that if the breaks start to go the other way the Giants may be in some trouble.
Skin Deep
Green Bay is getting smacked around a bit at home to the Vikes, 17-3 so far.
TexasEagle
Green Bay has a weak D this year and the Vikings should actually give them a challenge for the division. The Rams are lucky to be in this game. HOLY!!! Chris Chambers just made a one handed TD grab that you're going to see on Sportscenter tonight. That was awesome!!! SkinInsite
Houston is doing well containing R.Williams. Didn't they allow Betts and Watson to go over 100 yards last year?
Tom [Giants fan]
Giants OLine is in HUGE trouble.
TexasEagle
What happened to Pettigout? They haven't mentioned a thing about him other then showing him being carted off. Doing a random stat check.. Farve is 9 for 16 for 67 yards and 3 pics. Not looking good for the Packers.
bulldog
Green Bay is vastly overrated beause of Favre. The team is a sentimental pick of those media types that judge everything by a qb's past rep, but in my mind he is a 33 year old passer in charge of a team that otherwise has 7-9 talent. last year they were just in the worst division in the league. if Tampa had not been moved out of the division prior to 2002, the Packers probably wouldn't have even made the postseason
Drex
Kurt Warner isnt the only star qb having his share of problems today: Brett Favre is looking horrible right now as they are down to the vikes 20-3.
Runs with Scissors
Ravens look like total crap so far. Plaxico Burress has like 98 yards in the first half.Pitts averaging 7 yards every first down play.ESPN was hyping the Ravens defense as just as good as the 2000 defense and how great Boller was. TexasEagle
This... is looking like it's going to be a very interesting season... even better then last year. Man, this game sucks... I'll keep tabs on the Boys Falcons game (not like I'll have any other viewing options - damn regional coverage) since I know you guys are curious about Johnson? Skin Deep
Hey Tom, if my memory serves me correctly, wasn't this a problem for the Giants last year also? They get break after break, "should" be almost blowin a team out, yet they are still within 1 TD of being down. This could be dangerous for the Giants. Letting teams with so many turnovers hang around comes back to bite you pretty often.
bulldog
if Ramsey is supposed to be a question mark as a second year player, how can anyone assume that Boller as a true rookie is going to just go in and play like a veteran? the Ravens vets didn't look very good in that final tuneup for the starters vs. the Skins in the preseason. I don't see this as better than a 7-9 or 8-8 club. I know everyone gives Billick so much credit as a 'genius' however after that 2000 one year miracle season what has the team done?
