A Shelby man was arrested Wednesday after police say he got into a football stance and challenged an officer to tackle him at a gas station.Jimmy Lewis “Jughead” Duncan, 40, of the 300 block of Gidney Street, was charged with being drunk and disruptive. An arrest report states Shelby Police Officer S.C. Brown arrived at the Fast Stop, 1020 E. Dixon Blvd. at 12:14 a.m. on Wednesday. Brown reported Duncan was “very intoxicated.” Duncan cursed with almost every sentence he spoke, according to the report.
