stratoman
I liked that Ramsey(not a mobile QB) new when to tuck it up an run. 24 yard scramble was the play of the game..:applause:
RiggoDrill
According to the Wash.Post, Spurrier called that as a designed scramble. Either way, Patrick had a great first game for a 2nd year QB. He showed some shakiness, as would be expected, but he also showed a heck of a lot of poise and command of the offense. Canyonero!
During the press conference Spurrier said it was a pass that had all the receivers go long. They were playing an idiotic part man/part zone coverage that left no one in the middle, so Ramsey took off.

bubba9497
Are we sending Patricks cleats to canton?
panel
I think he hesitated to much at the beginig of the run though, and he slid a little early, if he stopped and let B. Johnson come up and make a block, he could have had some more. But I geuss it was better that he take less risk to get the extra yardage at that point of the game. The Wicked Wop
Heck of a run, talk about energizing the crowd, sent us at the game into a frenz when we saw him take off an put us into field goal range. Anybody that thinks Ramsey isn't that mobile needs to think again.
Mickalino
Ya wanna talk about being mobile. How about where he ducked under the sacker, and immediately darts the 48-yarder to Coles. That was utterly beautiful
Mad Mike
That was a statement game by Ramsey and the team. From the ball coach to Ramsey, our recievers and backs, the O line... Our D (Arington! :notworthy )... This team shows REAL potential... But beyond a doubt, this was a statement game for Ramsey. Man that was a great game. sashae
I was just happy to see that he could shake off a bad beginning to the second half and make the SMART play and stay inbounds at the end of his scramble... good, smart play by the kid. -s
bubba9497
Not exactly the Key Play, but I thought the Key Series was on Defense, when Bowen stopped #33 on first down.. 1 yard short of the first, thenon second down Lavar stopped Moss on the screen "No First Down", then on Ttrid and 1, Trotter tackled the Jets for the loss. I knew then we had won the game.
