tr1
http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/08/why-buehlers-misses-caused-con.html David Buehler, who will be the Dallas Cowboys' placekicker this season, missed four field-goal tries in seven attempts during Thursday's practice. To put the magnitude of four misses into context, consider that New York Giants' kicker Lawrence Tynes has made 40-of-43 tries during the field-goal-team portions of camp, according to the club. Tynes went 5-of-6 on field-goal tries last season as the Giants swept the two-game season series from the Cowboys.
tr1
If you can't score TD's, and you have a piss-poor kicker, it doesn't look good for the season, puke fans. :rotflmao:

terrifNick21
folk was good.. why did they get rid of him? Because he had the same persona as the rest of the pokes. He was a choker.
Conn
Wow....He's already missed 4 in ONE practice? I don't think Gano has missed that many all offseason...
Hiro
But it's okay. He runs a 4.56 40 time and he can bench press 225 lbs 25 times! :rotflmao:
penasquito
He missed the last 4 kicks of the practice, so the streak is still alive. I also read somewhere that this is sort of what it was like in the OTAs and minicamps, but that he has been performing much better in TC. Folk went 18 for 28 last year, that's about 64%. If Buehler is that bad, he'll be a KO specialist again. The big question is, do the Cowboys save that roster spot by having Buehler do both jobs. This San Diego game is now a big deal for the guy, which it was anyway. But if he's perfect or 3 for 4 or something, then I'll be really impressed that he got over completely ****ing up in practice and didn't let it affect him in the game. But if he misses 2 or more kicks, that means he's not that good, and not very mentally suited to kicking in the NFL.
