Interseting comments on PTI by SI's Peter King about the Cowboys........

On PTI today(Just now in fact), they had Five Good Minutes with SI's Peter King, who was at the Cowboys/Cardinals preseason game this past Saturday.

King, who usually whorships the Cowboys as some sort of football gods, said that the Cowboys have offensive line problems, that Larry Allen looks like a shell of his former self, and that this could be the hardest team of the 4 teams HC Bill Parcells has coached to improve.

He also said that Parcells has been forced to spend a lot more time teaching the players as to what he wants them to do because of the fact that he doesnt have a lot of his old assisant coaches with him.

I don't trust anything King says.

Most of it is a load of crap.

Exactly. As has been repeated on countless forums, Peter King is a lazy hack. He's more concerned about schmoozing with coaches and players than he is with doing research and writing a decent story.

There's no question the Cowboys O-Line is suspect. But it's still early - there is talent available, and Petercheese has done nothing except plagiarize the local beat writers. Let's see if Larry can work himself into game shape before we bury him. Much, much less Peter King.

As far as the assistant coaches needing help goes, there are many good coaches with extensive NFL experience on that staff, and it's a laughable statement - as usual from King.

Dallas is probably not making the playoffs this year, duh. I don't think there is any illusion amongst most fans about that. But there will be a turnaround, sooner than later - which most Skins fans should welcome. NFC East pride, right?

I could care less if the cowboys turn around, in fact I hope it doesn't happen, cause I hate them that much. I am more concerned with seeing the Redskins "turn it around"

King is the guy who informed us that it would be wise to draft BOTH Danny Waffle and Shane Matthews in the first three rounds of our fantasy drafts last year.
