skinnyfan57
Very few owners in sports are completely out of the decision-making process. It doesn't have to be all or nothing. Certainly, Cooke was part of the decision-making process and it turned out fine. What we don't want is a situation where Snyder won't let Allen do his job. Snyder being part of the process and letting Allen do his job are not and shouldn't be mutually exclusive. What are you trying to do? Ruin the franchise? Don't give Dan any ideas. Hubbs
And now Wikipedia says that it's Gruden. In fact, he's already been hired: Jon David Gruden (born August 17, 1963 in Sandusky, Ohio) is currently the head coach of the Washington Redskins of the NFL. Prior to taking over as coach of Washington, he was the head coach of Tampa Bay and of the Oakland Raiders for 4 years. If Wiki says it, it must be true! NavyDave
I'd love a B & G Chucky Doll but if his new contract doesn't let him go in 2010 as some are reporting we may be "stuck" with Shannahan.
Mark The Homer
980 just reported that sources close to Gruden say Gruden's contract with MNF is "ironclad" and he will be at MNF in 2010.

I just heard that as well. Gruden is NOT coming to the B&G.
