celticsalmon
Would the game have ended without a flag if Tom or Payton were on the turf? The NFL recently professed it concern for concussions-yet the referee did nothing when Jason Campbell was thrown head first to the ground? help me out here..... CRogersGuy
Of course there would have been a flag. Jason Campbell is no Brady or Manning though. It's stupid, but the NFL wants to protect it's star players that get them money and they really don't care about a player that nobody else cares about. It happens in every sport too. In the NBA you have LeBron and Wade, in the NHL you have Ovechkin and Crosby, etc..
sjinhan
yup there would have been a flag.. actually there were about 2-3 other instances where in the replay of shown on TV you can see JC's helmet get smacked by the defender. I dont agree with the new rules to protect the QBs to this degree but it has been called consistantly for QBs such as Brady and Manning.
myzhi
Stars get favorable calls. That's crazy talk. Never happens in any sport...
