Ghost of
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2c_BvVBd-Q Look at the deflation and change in Pierce (the reporter) when Shaw finishes his thought "...remember what you see here." Great music, great directing, great acting. I've yet to find a man who's seen it who hasn't proudly admitted to crying. Eff a sparkly vampire. Ellis
"If this man should fall... who will lift up the flag and carry on?" "...I will." LOVE that scene!! One has to take into account the man who said it never needed to serve in the military. He CHOSE to.
GhostofSparta
"Glory" is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. I grew up on it, so in college watching it again it finally struck me just how many famous people were in that movie, but it was a well put together movie, and a very moving classic. Easily one of the 20 best movies ever made.
Goaldeje
Sob like a girl every time I watch it. Denzel getting whipped, "give 'em Hell", and the flag scene all set me off.
LegionOfDoom
The scene where they marched into battled 2x2 with the guy yelling out to encourage them on was very emotional....given that earlier they had a bit of a skirmish!
