Koolblue13
It isn't the breed, its the people for sure but you must admit 90% of people fail to train any dog properly so a pitt having the strength and tenacity to kill will kill if available to it.....you don't read stories of golden retrievers every killing babies....facts. People aren't in their back yard, breeding Goldens to fight or be tough for other people.
ljs
and then we have people like this dumbass Pit owner... http://www.khq.com/Global/story.asp?S=11529406 SPOKANE, Wash.- Right now one person is in custody and a Pit Bull is dead after Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a domestic violence situation in the 11000 block of S. Silver Lake Rd. It started about 2:26 Wednesday morning when 25 year-old Anna Schultz called 911 and told dispatchers she was arguing with her husband, 32 year-old Tyson Schultz. Anna told dispatchers her husband also threatened to kill her. A roommate and brother of the Schultz’s also lived in the Silver Lake and all those people, along with Anna, fled the home because of those threats. However, Sheriff’s deputies say the Schultz’s 2 and 3 year-old daughters were not able to leave the home. Deputies say Tyson called the brother threatening to kill the kids and pets in the house unless he brought Anna back. The Schultz’s had three Pit Bulls in the house and deputies were concerned one of those dogs would attack law enforcement. Deputies say Tyson made threats to release the Pit Bulls on law enforcement if they came into the house. Deputies responded to the house to check on the safety and status of the children. They tried knocking on the doors, but Tyson would not allow them in. Anna gave deputies a key to the house so they could safely get the children out of the home. Once deputies got into the house, one of the Pit Bulls charged them. The Pit Bull was tasered, but re-attacked the deputies. During that second attack, the Pit Bull was shot once with one of the deputies’ side arm. Still, after being shot with a .45 ACP round, the Pit Bull tried to attack the deputies again. He was shot and killed with a 12-gauge shotgun round. Tyson was arrested for domestic violence, making threats to kill, unlawful imprisonment, and malicious mischief. The daughters were found unharmed and sleeping on the parents’ bed. They did not wake up during the shooting of the Pit Bull.
Toe Jam
I'd like to own a pit. One of my uncles back in VA has one and to suggest the dog would ever hurt anyone is laughable. His name is pretty awesome too. We called him Spaz because he's pretty much as nutty and random as they come.
