LetThePointsSoar Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 OK, watching the game right now and maybe I just haven't paid attention, but I don't ever remember us using Sellers so much as a pass catching threat before...I think he's been targeted 3-4 times already this game...is this perhaps a new wrinkle? RonArtest15 Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Sellers can catch lobs...that's about it. Anything w. a "wee" bit of zip on it, he has problems. The majority of the TD's he's caught in his career are off of playaction lobs (in the RZ) when he is alone....his hands for the most part are suspect. You gotta be able to catch both lobs, and passes with zip on them to be considered a good pass-catching RB/FB... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

mi6 Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Sellers is way overrated. He can't catch too many balls -- he tends to drop more than he catches. Lately, he has done jack for the Skins when compared to some of the other fullbacks in the NFL. Not sure why gave him an extension. He is old an somewhat washed up.
