Anyone else see Joe Theismann on CNBC's Fast Money talking about stock trading?

He seems to know the right things to say, but I'm wondering if he knows what he's doing.

Joe Thiesmann had/has a well publicised gambling problem - which is basically what playing the stock market is. So taking stock advice from him would be brave IMO.

Good point. Explains a lot about the current state of the U.S. economy when you think of it with that analogy in mind.

 the current state of the U.S. economy has nothing to do with the stock market. It has everything to do with government interference in what was once a free market economy.

He might be a butthole, but I've never heard anyone say he was dumb.

I think he is beyond dumb.

To the OP, if you say anything with enough conviction, there are many people who are going to believe what you say is the truth...

.... in Theismann's case, he is great at getting his point across. However, the majority of what he has to say is either wrong or just plain foolish.

(I would never call the guy a 'butthole' though-- hahaha)

EDIT-- Not to the OP, I meant to HighOnHendrix
