PassAttack
Oh man, if he goes back to Miami, we'll look even more stupid. That would mean we leased him for one season from Miami and gave up 2 picks (including a 2nd rounder) in the process. Sweeeeeeeet! Ummm sort of like what we did to get in the position to draft Campbell? Yeah we wasted alot of draft picks for him, but we should hang on to him to get some value. SkinsFTW
Don't forget the 6th round pick. How are we going to draft a punter without it? Also, don't forget that they also assumed his contract. Which is probably why nobody else wanted anything to do with him for high round picks. Remember Moss going to the Patriots for a 4th rounder? Well even that trade required Moss to restructure his contract. Why the Redskins give up a whole ****load more and still take on the existing contract, for a player who was really a better but much older version of Carter, and was already talking retirement, is the exact reason our FO look like buffoons over and over and over. If you are going to use FA, fine, thats great. But at least know what you are doing and go after players that will fit in the system, and if you don't know enough to be able to figure that out on your own at least get the opinion of the coaches. From what I heard Blache didn't even want Taylor.

ChiefPowhatan17
I don't believe this, he will be back in B&G. I don't think that Dan will give up so easily on what he thought was a good deal. Plus, really we need him, in either a DE or OLB position, considering how thin we are.
JoeSkins
Why should he? It was offered to him. Blame the braintrust. I would never, ever, take a pay cut in the NFL, where you're one play away from retirement at any moment. I don't blame anyone for not taking a pay cut.
