Rhodus333
the offense was completely shut down for 58 STRAIGHT:doh: minutes. ugh. A classic example of a two sided team beating a one sided team. Both teams had great defense all game, but Pittsburgh's offense took advantage of all our 3 and outs and wore our defense down in the second half. “Misdirection”
We didn't score after 13 minutes in the first quarter...
SonOfWashington
Well we didn't score until after the first 4 minutes, but our offense wasn't completely shut down, even though it was dismal.
Saqs
I dont even count the 6 points as scoring. Those were gimmies.
brianm23
should be the third down conversions. That would be the worst stat of the night. (minus the actual score)
NomadicSkinFan
We gave up 23 points on 220 yards. That doesn't happen very often. We just allowed our defense to get worn out.
Darc Requiem
Having our QB sacked 7 times. Jansen was getting crushed out there. I wouldn't be surprised if Heyer is starting at RT after the bye week. Jansen is still effective in the run, but he was getting owned in pass protection. Santana_Fan
The worst stat of the night, is that they had more sacks than we had points.
Execution56
Not taking advantage of our first 2 possessions of the game.. getting only SIX points instead of at least 10 points kept Steelers in the game. In addition, CARLOS ROGERS dropping a potential INTERCEPTION RETURN FOR A TD that should have given us the momentum. The BLOCKED PUNT allowed by the special teams.. very bad.. mike42
The worst stat of the night, is that they had more sacks than we had points. That stat pretty much summed it up.
Rhodus333
yeah, the sacks were bad, but our defense was getting sacks in too. This one was all on the offense
TheItalianStallion
yeah, the sacks were bad, but our defense was getting sacks in too. This one was all on the offenseI agree, and would go even further and say that the sacks that we allowed had more to do with our O than their D.
