Elessar78 Posted February 9, 2011 Share Posted February 9, 2011 American Pastoral- Philip Roth All the Pretty Horses-Cormac McCarthy Atonement-Ian McEwan Blood Meridian-Cormac McCaarthy Atonement was made into a pretty awesome adaptation of the book, but still doesn't do it justice. All the Pretty Horses-sounds like a chick flick, but was made into a crappy movie. But it's actually a very "aggressive" western.
