Luca Brasi
Anyone hear the verdict yet? Did I miss it? I thought the hearing was this week.

Burgold
Well this year, if the decision was due April 1 it would have had to have gone in the Jets favor

While I don't think we need Morton, it really would be icing on the cake, and I can't imagine how outraged Jets' fans would be become. I hope we get him.

Posse81
I like Morton, but I don't want him anymore--not for that price. We eventually have to stop and try out guys on our team. See if Bruce Branch can do the job. Maybe a guy like Patrick Johnson or one of our WRs burried on the depth chart. Its more cost effective that way. skinsblitz
I'm not really that hyped about Morton either way. It would be pretty good to get him and PO more Jet fans  but we will be overloaded at RB. Who would be the odd man out if he comes in? Would it be Watson? bulldog
I think the Redskins gave Morton a rich offer and I hope the Jets end up with the player. Remember if the ruling goes in favor of the Jets, they may not have to match the voidable years portion which makes the contract much more favorable to them. However, if the Skins acquire Morton then the voidable years clause kicks in with us and we face a cap hit 2 years from now. The best of both worlds would be for the arbitrator to rule that the Jets get Morton but they have to give him the voidable years clause
