worstSeat Posted April 27, 2008 Share Posted April 27, 2008 Jason La Confera (one of our biggest detractors lately) wrote a piece that made it sound like we got the deal of the century. In short, we won this one. And then he posted that he'd gotten the facts wrong. He thought that the Skins traded the first round pick for three picks. Instead, the Skins moved down from their 1st, up from their second and third. Not sure that's as obvious a win, and neither was JLC. I like your later reasoning better -- the Skins got three likely contributors next season, and there's no real guarantee that'll happen with the later picks they had. To me, I'm thinking the Skins are paying out less in rookie salary for people they would've been happy with at #21, so it's a win-win. Thanks elkabong82 for digging up the points.
