I read and listened to what Wilbon said, I was more angry over his comments during radio and TV appearances. Coturd pissed me off more, but pissing on a man while he was still lying on a surgery table fighting for his life was uncalled for.

Wilbon was still saying "We still don't know what happened" after we knew what happened.

I hope he chokes on a deep dish pizza.

This is Wilbon's original article from November 28, 2007 about Sean Taylor. Maybe some should read it again and, instead of focusing on the specific events Wilbon recalls, focus on the general message he was trying to get across.

Not only was Wilbon fair in his initial assessment of the circumstances around Taylor's murder, I respect his choice to distance himself from the type of overly-emotional sob journalism that, while more popular among his readers, clouds a larger issue.

Well you're apparently in the minority as he seems to have lost two thirds of the sports fans / paper buyers that post on ES.

The value of Wilbon's opinions will be deluded from here on out based on his comments about not being surprised that Sean Taylor had been shot in his home by an intruder and that it wouldn't stun him if Taylor was specifically targeted.

Wilbon is a rich, elitist TV star with ZERO street cred at this point.
