I might be goofy, but it seems weird to me that a team would keep bringing in all these veteran players just to cut them. testrake Posted August 24, 2007 Share Posted August 24, 2007 The only concern I have with this is what kind of shape is he in having been out of football for a year. This guy is a great blocker, a good receiver and more important knows how to pick up a blitz and protect his QB. I think that this may be the underlying reason. So far in preseason the QB has been dropped on a blitz, the last thing we need is a rookie missing an assignment and down goes JC for the count.
