Stew
Ray Brown will be a Redskins afterthought the minute Gibbs leaves. We as fans will remember, but do you think the FO will keep bringing in Gibbs type coaching staff after Gibbs isnt here anymore??? Not at all. LiveStrongSkins
Why do people assume that because someone was on the hogs that automatically would make them a good coach?
mi6
If available Jm Lachey or Mark May would be choices. If not, whoever Al selects is fine by me.

Hey...let's hire Mark Schlereth as head coach and Mike Golic as his defensive coordinator.

angel2
I don't think Joe B. will leave until he's confident that the players under his control are at or beyond his expectations.
jimster
Why do people assume that because someone was on the hogs that automatically would make them a good coach? Ray Brown came in last year as an assistant to Buges and mentioned that coaching is something he's interested in. - He has 20 years playing experience, has played against some of the best and has been coached by some of the best. The only thing left is having the personality to coach, and he seems to have it. I don't know if Mark May or Jacoby would make great coaches. I think Lachey would, but he's off broadcasting Arena League games.

Here is a better question: Why are our coaches the only coaches in the league who get to determine when they leave? Why does Bugel have a vote in his time of departure? CM916
Whatever he is doing when the time comes, offer Grimm a ridiculous ammount of money to leave and come back here.

4skins23
Here's a thought-not as Ol but coaching the secondary on Defense. D. Green. Grimm has my vote for Offense.

Lombardi's_kid_brother
Here's a thought-not as Ol but coaching the secondary on Defense. D. Green. To you as well: Why? Why do you think Green would be a good coach? He has never coached. He has never expressed an interest in coaching. And superstars are usually bad coaches because they have no patience. He could surely put together a gameplan. He is a pretty intellegent man. It just remains to be seen if he can coach others.
OriginalWhizzinator
Russ Gr....Joe Jac...... Jeff Bos..... Jim La...... Mark Ma........ uhh...Ray Brown? hahaha...pretty crazy, but i guess its kind of likely. I would love to get Grimm, but he is way above being a positional coach at this point. OriginalWhizzinator
He is still a position coach at this point. ok, technically you are correct. My understanding is that he is also the assistant HC and 2nd banana to Whisenhunt. I doubt he would be offered 2nd in command here assuming GW and Saunders are still around. It means that a team can't hire you away unless they make you a head coach.

If this is the case, it is a moot point...he is not a candidate for future skins O-line coach.
