Barney B Posted August 11, 2007 Share Posted August 11, 2007 Coupla points: 1- Robert McCune is big and fast, but there's more to being a football player than size and speed. 2- Anybody remember Rick Badanjek or Lionel Vitale? These guys looked like Pro Bowlers in the preseason, but couldn't crack the regular season lineup, except for the strike team. You wanna talk about natural athletes - Lionel Vitale had near-Darrell Green-type speed, and (I'm not kidding) could jump over a freakin' car. He still couldn't play running back in the NFL. 3- On the other hand sometimes the coaches make mistakes, and cut the wrong guys.
