Spaceman Spiff
Alright, so I went ahead and downloaded the new Safari beta browser...I normally don't care for beta software but this is Apple and they claimed it was 2x faster. It sucks. It's actually really slow. I'm on a Mac Book Pro I purchased about a year ago, all my software is up to date, its got a 2.16 GHZ intel core duo and the memory is a 1 GB 667 MHZ ram. Opening and closing programs is as fast as it used to be. I'm just really not sure whats going on since Firefox has seemed to slow down too. Occasionally a page will load really quickly on Safari or Firefox but 90% of the time I feel like I'm on dial up. So is there anything I can do? Zen-like Todd
The Safari 3 beta disk image you downloaded has an uninstaller.
Spaceman Spiff
The Safari 3 beta disk image you downloaded has an uninstaller. Good call. I uninstalled it and the old Safari is better. Doesn't seem to be entirely as fast as it was, but anythings better than that beta. Thanks man.
MrSilverMaC
The Beta has been reported as being very "buggy" for some reason. Do you use Safari as your default browser?

I know a lot of people don't like it, but it's all I've used since the switch over from PC and Internet Explorer (pre firefox days)
