cmorina69
Samuels and Thomas need to make more pro bowls and All-pro teams in order that they might be hofers.Portis is on a good pace to be a hall of famer, but again, having that pro bowl nod is so important apparently, he needs to get out to hawaii, Taylor has the ability, he needs people around him to get there. Big thing that gets people into the hall of fame is a ring. Agree 100% i think all of your point are right.
bulldog
Samuels is 29 and has the chance to be a top caliber performer for the next several years. That assumes he stays healthy and doesn't have any further problems with his ankles. But he has really been the only consistent performer here over a number of years. Part of that is due to the turnover on this team. Samuels has been here since 2000. Only Jansen has been here longer.

Riggo-toni
Not a single hog in the hall, and someone thinks Samuels will get in??? He's a very good tackle, but he's not Orlando Pace or Walter Jones. Jacoby, Grimm, Lachey - they were the absolute best of their day. Randy Thomas might be the best pulling guard out there now, but even he's not HOF material.
