Hooper
Brunell looked so horrid Gibbs had to make the switch to Campbell. If we had won or even lost a close game, Campbell would still be wasting away on the bench and getting no experience. Portis being hurt is going to force us to play TJ Duckett more. We'll see what we have there as well.
WVUforREDSKINS
I wouldn't ever call a crucial lost that all but took us out of the paloffs a blessing.
Hooper
A win would have just delayed the inevitable. We were going nowhere with Brunell.
tr1
I don't know that any loss is a 'blessing.' This 'blessing' sure hurts today.
bbuzz1962
I have to agree. A close win against Philly would have just delayed the inevitable. Brunell has not played a good game other than against Houston, and who hasn't had a good game against Houston. Brunell was washed out in preseason, yet somehow, the coaches thought he had a miracle season in him. He didn't guys, he was finished before he started. I can only imagine if JC has sucess, everyone will be wondering, what took so long?

Execution56
Losing is NEVER a blessing! Furthermore, there is no blessing in CP getting hurt. However, this gives him the chance to properly heal himself. Finally, Jason Campbell finally gets his shot and hopefully he won't blow it like Patrick Ramsey. :bucsuck:
TODD
I think I speak for a lot of people here when I say that I hate losing to Philly. I can't construe that game as a blessing, sorry.
