FunBunch7
Maybe the reason Gibbs isn't so eager to pull the trigger on JC starting is because if this season ends up being a losing one, Saunders will probably take a head coaching job in the off season in Oakland or Arizona and Gibbs doesn't want JC to have to run an offense that will be completely different next year. Win or lose, this will most likley be Brunell's last year and then the whole off season will be used to get JC ready. We'll probably have 2 different back up QBs next season too...maybe a "Gus Frerotte Type". For all the Brunell bashers...what you all don't realize is that Brunell is the TEAM MVP right now. He hasn't missed a single tackle all season and has on;y thrown a couple of picks. Sure, he doesn't exactly have a connon of an arm, but he has played very controlled this year. CPortJGibbs89
God I hope he is, why come in and install a whole new system then just leave. I dont think Gibbs would have hired him if he said he only wanted to be here for just a year.
skinsngibbs4life
I hope so. I seriously think that with a good QB, that his offense will be very good here
One Shot
I'm pretty sure Saunders will be here next year. It was said that it would take a year to learn to offense enough to be consistent with it, I guess we just didn't really take that seriously. He should definitely give it another year. JPM285181
The way things are going, who's to say Saunders will be a hot coaching commodity next year?
