tale of the lines.

Redskins defense line has applied little pressure on Favre and Green is averaging 7.0 yards a carry on the ground.

Meanwhile Ramsey has been bounced around and the line can't open holes for Davis despite the Packers starting backups at both DE spots due to injury.

the score is 17-6 and the Packers by all rights haven't played very good football yet, outside of opening some holes for Ahman Green.

My feeling is once the Redskins are forced to press more in the second half there will be more mistakes and Brett Favre will start to eat up the Redskins defense.

We aren't applying any pressure on him at all and if he was hit and knocked down in the first half, it was only once or twice.

Meanwhile Ramsey gets drilled on any play he holds the ball for any length of time.

With the line that we have a three step drop in a WCO might be the only way to keep a passer upright and effective for 60 minutes.

Gilbert Brown has destroyed the inside. On one play he beat both Moore and Brown, throwing the latter aside, to tackle Davis for a short gain.

Right now we are starting what would be three backups at LG, RG and C on a true Super Bowl contending team.

Anyone think Moore or Loverne or Brown would be starting on the Saints or 49ers or even the Packers?

Of the three, Brown and Loverne would likely be end of the bench or inactives and Moore would be a second string center and guard.

Arrington making it downfield with his speed to punch the ball out of Green's hands is the reason as DC you have to construct a defense with the skills of your players in mind.

there aren't a lot of linebackers that would make up the ground to get Green and make the tackle, let alone force a turnover.
