DeanCollins
nice color! any lettering going back on? are we doing some engine work on this puppy?
Johnny Punani2
Paint job really looks good. The painter said Yellow is a pain in the butt because you have to put so many coats on. The upper front fairing still needs to be repainted because slick forgot to paint under the hang tab. Duh! I'm really impressed with the quality of the fairings. SharkSkinz does a great job but they are very expensive.
Pete
I've never had a problem painting yellow. I learned years ago to put light colors over dark primer which makes it so much easier to make sure you have complete even coverage. None the less, it looks great
Johnny Punani2
nice color! any lettering going back on?are we doing some engine work on this puppy? Thanks. Yeah, I have the carbs in the shop being cleaned and re-jetted. I did a maint/tune up (spark plugs, air filter, radiator flush, oil, etc) and put on a Vance&Hines slip on exhaust.
