COOLhandsCOOLEY
Yeah Gibbs mentioned it, and if I am not mistaken it was precautionary to make sure he doesnt get injured. Could be smoke and mirrors, but I am gonna believe that he's healthy.
DWinzit
I hope they don't play him this week then. The last thing we need is anything wrong with him!!!
red zone
Sounds more like the beginnings of a Sports Hernia. It has lingered since the end of last season. Not good news to say the least.
Eparadox
Our #1 next year better be spent on a CB
jeronimobrat
Our #1 next year better be spent on a CB My same exact thought! But, if Springs is unable to remain healthy this season, then a slight possibility would have to be alternating between Mike Rumph, Ade Jimoh or Kenny Wright (if KW is not cut before the season begins).
Increase Mather
This news is deeply disconcerting to Increase. Increase's three greatest concerns, in order of importance, are: -depth at cornerback -quarterback -depth on offensive line If Springs is hurt or ineffective, the Redskins pass defense is quite vulnerable. Rogers was generally effective last year, but it remains to be seen whether he is capable of being an above-average cornerback. Ade Jimoh, Kenny Wright, and Mike Rumph hardly inspire confidence. This story is worth following closely.
RiggoReincarnated
If Springs was injured why did he play on Saturday?

mjwilliams76
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but often times when you see a recurrent groin issue such as Springs had last year, the next thing you will see is surgery. Its safe to say that we may see Springs on long term injury report at some point. Just my professional opinion.
