Love_Them_Dirtbags Posted March 15, 2006 Share Posted March 15, 2006 Lenny P is just embarrassed because he doesn't understand the salary cap, and got fooled by the Redskins' spin machine, just like the rest of the NFL. For the weeks leading up to free agency, the Redskins were downplaying their cap room and letting everyone believe they were WAY over the cap. They were not. They had a plan in place all along. Most football writers have NO CLUE how the cap works. Lenny P was one of them. Once we fooled everyone into thinking we had no FA plans, we struck under the cover of darkness, in a shock-and-awe campaign -- contacting key players just after the clock struck midnight.
