This is the only stuff pertaining to the Redskins in the article.

"Oh, Danny, yoi: For weeks leading up to free agency, owners around the league whispered that it was mathematically impossible for the Washington Redskins to get under the salary cap, and they chortled that fraternity brother Dan Snyder would not be able to continue his free-spending ways. Yet three days into free agency, the Redskins have added wide receivers Antwaan Randle El and Brandon Lloyd, tight end Christian Fauria, defensive end Andre Carter and safety Archuleta.

So, either Washington contracts manager Eric Schaffer is a genius or Snyder has found a way to circumvent the cap. Seems it must be the former, since none of the legion of the team officials who keep wondering privately how the Redskins are able to add players -- and who complain to the media about Washington's laxity in turning in contracts to the league -- apparently has the gumption to raise the issue with the NFL Management Council. Give Snyder, whose team is a veritable mint, credit for this: He's terrible at reading a blueprint but great at doling out the long green. In each of the last two springs, Snyder has vowed publicly that the roster he has assembled will represent the Redskins' team for three years. Then the inevitable occurs. Washington doesn't win a Super Bowl, the roster is blown up and Snyder goes back to the vault for another free-agent spending spree. One of these years, paying out all that money actually might pay off in a championship."

This might be Fatty McButterpants' worst article yet. "The roster is blown up"?!?!? We've added 5 new players, (6 if you count collins) and have lost two starters, if you consider Harris a starter.

"Give Snyder, whose team is a veritable mint, credit for this: He's terrible at reading a blueprint but great at doling out the long green." Again absurd. So bringing in Gibbs, Williams, and Saunders and then letting them spend his money however they see fit is "terrible."

This is the most annoying. If teams have issues then they can address those issues to the league, and if they don't, stop complaining that we have cap geniuses and other teams have cap morons. This is atleast the second (and maybe third) time Fatty McButterpants has accused us of circumventing cap rules.

I hate very few people, but if I saw fatty on the street I would leg sweep him and watch him flail about as he tried to stand up without success.

You know, if this was any other team in the league making these moves it would be all over espn and such. But since we are the ones making the moves every writer and sports radio talk show host is dogging us out. Last year Mike Greenberg would say Ramsey is overrated and is a turnover waiting to happen, now that he (Ramsey) may go to the Jets, Greenie says he's got a lot of potential and a good arm. Peter King, Fatty McButterpants and all of these other experts are morons...GO GIBBS

Let's see how BigDfan will spin this.... Lenny still not calling Snyder a cheater??????

Lenny like the rest of the idiots, can't accept they don't know squat about the cap, and accept Snyder & the Skins FO are geniuses when writing cap friendly contracts.

News Flash, ALL contracts have to be approved by the league office.... if the contracts over the limit, or illegal... they would be declined.

Actually, that's probably a fair assessment. Course, that's why Snyder hired Gibbs to run the organization.

As for blowing up the roster, Snyder really only did that once, and that's when Shotty was here, after Snyder's ill-fated spending spree in 2000.

The only time I lay my eyes on his tripe is when it is posted here. Never, ever read the factless ramblings of a bloated pig.

He sucks. He is just mad every time he reports something, the opposite happens. Lardarelli would probably have a massive coronary if something he wrote was factually correct!

Lenny the answer is right in front of your ugly face

The reason you can't understand is because you were listening to some shmoe in the AFC who has zero knowledge of the Skins contracts. The League Office has said the Skins previous contracts are well prepared and written to allow for restructure in the future, and easily would have been UNDER the non CBA limit of $94 million.

Give it up Len,...... you, King, and Banks are just WRONG
