ImmortalDragon
Is the Super Bowl just a glorified version of a league championship? Was there anything different in getting either?
@DCGoldPants
before there were Superbowls, there were decades and decades of NFL Champs. To me, there is no difference.

Darth Tater
Super Bowl's since the merger are simply League Championships.
dadirtbags
Is the Super Bowl just a glorified version of a league championship? Was there anything different in getting either? I would say the biggest difference..... is ...if the last time your team won the big game it was called a "championship" I would say your franchise is pathetic....take for instance...The Eagles.....the last time they won the big game was in 1960 when it was called a "championship"....LOL!!!!!! :eaglesuck
WallyG3
It's not about the steak, it's about the sizzle! But it always bothered me that the World Series does not include teams from all over the world.

To dismiss the history of this game, especially pre-Super Bowl, is a big disservice to many, many people.
