monarch34
This guy has started 41 games and played in 62 during his 5 year NFL career, mostly with San Diego. He would have made the Jags 53 man roster, but they dropped him when they made a successful waiver wire claim on Monday. Unlike some others whose names have popped up, he seems worth a look. He's young but has starting experience at Left OG, doesn't appear to be injured, and will be cheap. Anyone heard anything about him (good or bad)? Thinking Skins
I'm confused. WHy'd they make a waver wire claim for him? Whats that mean? He seems like he could be a nice project. He fits in with what the front office has been trying to do this year, in getting a lot of quality and youth for their money. I think he'll be wearing burgendy (maroon) and gold pretty soon. Art
I want to focus on a quality backup left and right tackle named John Fina at this point. Roundtree is an interesting name though to consider should we be looking to replace Vickers.
Skins57
I woiuld hope we are looking to replace Vickers, think Shane would sleep alittle better if they did:D I agree though we need a tackle and Fina seems to be the best bet

They made a waiver wire pickup from another team . . . they claimed someone that another team had cut when the final axe fell on Sunday, then they had to cut someone to make room. Roundtree was the one who was cut.
redman
A Chargers o-line cast-off is not what we're looking for. Those guys were starting Ed Ellis at RT last year, a guy who couldn't even make our roster as a backup. I think he's back this year. No thanks. DaFunky1
My question is this... why whould we want anyone from the Jaguars, except maybe a handful of players, when Tom Coughlin has gone on record and said this team of his has less talent then what they started with when it was an expansion team? I'd be leary of taking anyone from their team save a few select players. Peace
