inmate running the asylum Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 With Renaldo Wynn gone now with a broken arm, should the Redskins re-sign Ron Warner next week? I know Demetric Evans will probably start in Wynn's place, but the Skins will still need another defensive lineman to replace Wynn. In checking the free agent lists, Ron Warner is the only DE out there that seems to have any ability. Of course he may be out of shape -- having not played all year -- but he did fairly well last year in his limited play. As I recall he had around 3.5 sacks in limited play. No_Pressure Posted January 8, 2006 Share Posted January 8, 2006 To be safe, probably...then again if we ever run out of d linemen we could always put Lavar at DE and play Holdman at linebacker in his place :laugh: But not really though, we should sign the DE to keep ourselves safe.
