Thinking Skins
Presason games dont mean squat. Just cause Banks played well yesterday, it doesn't mean anything for the regular season. We've always known he had an arm, but the question is can he lead this team in case of an injury or the likes?
MikeB
I think the BIG question is what the heck is up with the O-line. Forget the QB, with the way our O-line looks neither has a prayer...
Hoyaparanoia
Yes our OL MUST improve. Getting Chris back will be a major plus. I agree with the earlier post...it does not matter who is the QB, if our line is not intact, niether will the QB be.
Fitz
The offensive line will improve. More than any other unit, the OL only functions at its' best when the members work in concert. It takes time for everybody to learn what their linemates' strengths are, and more importantly, what weaknesses have to be covered. We have proven, capable talent at all the positions now, once Chris gets back out there. Give it time, it will come.
NavyDave
The O line needs to get it together because I think the interior will face bltzes until we tailor our game to punish them for going 7 or 8 men in the box. ------------------ Take a sip of the Marty Kool Aid and Believe
bulldog
Banks may be better suited to be an off the bench player. Some guys are starters and some are relief pitchers. Banks seems to do better when he comes in without expectations and just has the chance to go out and make plays. He completey disappeared last year after throwing 5 touchdowns in a game against Jacksonville, just as his star appeared on the rise. But the pressure and spotlight to perform was also becoming more focused on him, wasn't it?
