Gibbs' Redskins used to pluck guys like Jeff Bostic and Alvin Garrett off poor Eagles and Giants teams and they would come on for us nevertheless. Lockett and Bennett could have made more money by staying in KC with Vermeil. It's always good to have a few players on your team that you KNOW will cover your back when adversity comes knocking at the door. Last year Turner had a crew of mercenaries that became disinterested once the promise of gold and silver was taken from their grasp.
