He was on kickoff coverage and it reminded me of Dexter Manley when he was a gunner on punt coverage... Scott has good speed for his size.. bulldog Posted August 5, 2002 Share Posted August 5, 2002 Scott showed good quickness. He is listed at 258 but looked bigger to me. I think he is a candidate to be on the final roster, albeit not a sure bet. You have to remember that with Otis Leverette injured at DE that opens up a roster spot if he is placed on IR, which I think he may be. Carl Powell at 6'2 and 270 and at age 28 or 29 does not appear to have the upside of the younger players like Otis and Greg and with Gardener, Dotson and Wynn capable of moving to cover injuries on the line, a guy like Scott could make it as the last DE.
