They said Denver has ran all over opponents that have big linemen but arent fast on defense(aka jags), but against fast defense's like the colts they can't run their stretch plays cuz of the speed of the d-linemen and linebackers. They said we should shut down their running game. Baldy shows our defense defending the run stretch against dallas. Then showing us using the corner blitz from both sides to defend the run against seattle. Sharpe was talking about Mark Brunell playing very good right now. That he thinks the Denver defense won't have an answer for him. Baldy talked about the denver d defending us good, but saying Portis will want to have something to prove against his former team. Then they both talked about Lavar and saying why hes not playing. Showed him missing a couple tackles against the bears and getting blocked badly. nace14 Posted October 7, 2005 Share Posted October 7, 2005 that was some pretty good coverage of us for once, and a good diagnosis of the two teams. we have to keep gold from flying up into holes unblocked. cooley and sellers are going to have to step it up in the blocking scheme. their lb's are faster and smoother in and out of holes than i realized.
