daustin
What ever happened to all the talk about Willie Jackson ... I haven't heard a peep about him in weeks.
Art
Mini-camp happened and Spurrier discovered "the best unknown receivers in the league" . It would appear that Spurrier likes enough of what he sees to table Jackson as an idea and focus on retaining Westbrook, unlikely and unpopular as it and he is, and potentially getting a receiver in the draft to round out his team. @DCGoldPants
My question is this.......this is Spurrier's 1st NFL Mini-Camp. How does he know he's got the best unknown guys? Maybe he has the worst!
Mickalino
How about another Jackson ? Grady ?
Art
Bufford,

My guess is Spurrier is a pretty bright guy, and when he sees Thompson, or Skaggs, or McCants, or Doering beating Champ or Smoot in practice, he looks around and says, "Ain't that something." bulldog
I think there is another surprise or two up the Redskins sleeves in the offseason.

After June 1 if we cut Marco Coleman or another vet like Sam Shade we might have the money earmarked for signing a Jackson at WR or another name player for the OL or DL.

Remember how many players we have signed after June 1 in the past including Marco Coleman, Dave Szott, Ben Coleman, and others who have made a contribution here.
