Art Posted September 7, 2005 Share Posted September 7, 2005 The team is marketing the site, so, I'm sure they will place ads in a number of internet and print media over the next several months promoting the site or specific events. Branded ads on sites frequented by football fans is not all that uncommon I wouldn't think. I'm not sure it signals team support of the site . I'm not sure what part of my statement was a defense of anything. The team is marketing the website. Advertising is part of the branding efforts.
