Blondie
What are the news stations in that area that have the best Skins news? Maybe we can look on line at their sites, and get more information about Training Camp. It is a good thing I pay $50 to get my nails done, otherwise, I would be biting them today in anticipation of the official beginning of the season. I'M SO EXCITED....AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT...I'M ABOUT TO LOSE CONTROL... Texas Blondie
PCS
"And I think I like it" sigh. I can see the Pointer sisters running through my head for a while today. Well, I'm not sure about live reports anything, but WTEM sportstalk 980 has some good stuff on it from time to time. Doc Walker and other ex plus present Redskins sometimes show up there. You can listen live here. http://www.wtem.com/main.html Careful with those nails now blondie. Wopuldn't want to see good work chewed up or anything. Redskins colors these days? SlobberknockerSkinsFan
All we can get here in TN. is all the N'ville Tacklin Faggot news. Oh and the Rams and Saints news. The only place I can get the best news is either here, or other sites on the net. HAIL TO THE REDSKINS HAIL VICTORY :notworthy
Blondie
The 4 major TV stations here in Dallas are full of news about the Cowboys. They have internet sites. What I am asking is, do the TV stations in VA or DC have sites to access? Yes, PCS, I am in deep burgandy.....fingers and toes. I am a true fan head to toe!! indyskinsfan
Well Blondie I know what you mean, as the four stations here in Indianapolis, also have websites that stay up on cuurent day's sports.
PediGator
Hmm... I live in Dallas as well. WTEM.com offers a live internet broadcast that's always fun to listen in on from time to time to hear what the locals are saying. I'm sure DC area folks can offer even better stations. NavyDave
Dont worry just like when we do play by play of preseason games for the geographically challenged, you can bet that there will be posts from those watching sports on NBC4,Fox5,WJLA7,WUSA9,NEwschannel8 and Comcast for redskins magazine. And the best non area reporting I've seen is still Tidewaters the Virginia pilot.

riggins44
I agree with Navy Skins...sometimes the Daily Press writers love to have a doom and gloom attitude about the Skins. In south- eastern VA the Skins will be on a new radio station, 1490 AM.
indyskinsfan
Hey I could swear that is a station I got out here once or similar to it on AM, that allowed me to catch a second half of a game betweent the Skins and Giants a few years back. I couldn't find anything like it since, out here.
SkinsLegacy44
I would go with NBC4. George Michael has been around this area for quite some time, and is a great reporter.
Montilar
And George's partner in crime is a biased Sonny J. But only SLIGHTLY biased.
Zen-like Todd
Sonny? Sonny's not biased at all! He simply recognizes the greatness that is the Washington Redskins... even in the midst of 4-12 seasons, 5-11 seasons, etc.
Om
Blondie, here are links to the other 3 major local networks, plus one local (Fairfax) station that generally does a pretty good job on the Skins. Won't vouch for what they offer on a daily basis, since I mainline about 97.5% of my burgundy and gold stash here ... but as a true addict you may find them worth book-marking for the occasional surf party. Redskinette_Vic
Blondie - Great question. Om and Uptown, thanks for the links! My football favorites folder is stocked! The only sports that the Las Vegas stations cover are the farm-team 51's. But at least I can always find the Redskins on TV in one of the casino sports books!
