Looks like Detroit's two starting tackles will be their only OL starters tomorrow. Meaning Payne, hopefully Allen, and Wise should feast in the middle. Pushing the pocket back into Goff's face. No qb likes interior pressure. Especially not an immobile qb like Goff. Also if all runs pretty much have to be on the outside, that's a big advantage to the opposing defense. Woot woot 😁

Why are people surprised at 2011 mark being the last time we have been 2-0. We have been a bad team for a very long time.
Yes but we weren't always bad. We made the playoffs a couple of times in that time span. Even if we didn't, we're talking about a measley 2 - 0. Even bad teams can occasionally start out 2 - 0. So going 11 years without accomplishing it even one time, is pretty stunning to me. Embarrassing, to be honest. I sure hope we beat Detroit and end the 2 - 0-less streak. Would feel good going into our back to back division games with a little bit of cushion 😁

I was watching a Lions preseason game and the commentators couldn't stop bragging about Detroit's offensive line. They said it's one of the best in the entire NFL 😱 And Swift is a beast.

Not really. Detroit was a bad luck team last year. They really should've won 5-6 games instead of the 3 that they did win. Detroit is going to be a MUCH tougher opponent than the Jags. Detroit can actually put up points, and they can run the ball well now with DeAndre Swift. Even more tough, is the fact that this is a road game for Washington, in a place that they haven't had much success in the past 15 years. I predict that this will be a shootout, and that the score will look similar to today's Eagles/Lions score. Detroit's issue is that they can't close games.
The Lions have a really good offensive line too. I hope we can win the battle up front. Changes everything, if we can.

I sure hope Jonathan Allen is alright. Any news yet?

Those two picks were bad and hopefully that doesn't happen often this year. However the 300 plus yards and 4 tds are gorgeous. Heinicke has literally zero games like that in his career, right? CW did it in his debut. Woohoo. When is the last time a Washington qb has had 300 plus yards and 4 tds? Cousins? Hope to see more of that 😁😁

They’ve targeted Allen Robinson ONCE the whole game.
I'm starting to think Allen is washed up and can't get separation anymore. I know Chicago's qbs haven't been good but he really fell off a cliff last year. Same guy who dominated with Trubisky, suddenly had like 400 some yards for an entire season. My niece ( who is playing me in fantasy football this week ) started him last night and he only got her 2.2 points. So I'm pretty happy about that 😁

He’s going to become a lot of fans favorite player if he comes back and looks anything like he did in the pre season when it counts.
Rooting for him big time.
I'm so happy that he's gonna be okay. I'm also unhappy that Antonio " butterfingers " Gibson is going to be the starting running back again.

Technically it’s an initialism. An acronym you read out the word like NASA or AIDS. When you sound out the letters it’s an initialism like FBI or CIA.So asap can go both ways? If I say it letter by letter " A. S. A. P, " then it's an initialism. However if I say it as a word " A sap, " then it's an acronym???

I know a lot guys on here despise Bostic but I actually like him especially as insurance if Holcomb gets hurt. I mean would you want to see Mayo’s slow to react behind out there manning the middle? Bostic is a vet and knows the system. He’s much more of a thumper than Mayo ever could be.
Him and Milo as backups may not be perfect but good enough in my opinion.
On another note. Does anyone think Apke has some incriminating dirt on Ron? How is this guy still in the NFL?
Evidently they really appreciate his fantastic special teams skills.

When I got jacked, it was 3am and I was pretty drunk. As I reached to turn the key I saw him a split second in the rear view, before I could turn the key and drive. Then I got punched with the gun and got out of the car and his buddy came up behind me and grabbed everything out of my pockets.
Earlier in the night they tried to jack a buddy of mine, but didn't get the drop and he punched the kid a few times before he ran off.
Cops asked me if I wanted them to go arrest the kids we were pretty sure they were. Hung around the bars every night, lived in the projects next door. I said nope.
Two weeks later, I bartending across the island at the late night joint. Doors locked, everyones in until daylight, this dude know as Money sits at the end of the bar and says "thanks for not getting my nephews arrested or this would have gone much different" and gave me my wallet back. That guys been in jail for years for murder. Again.
Island lifes wild. Never got the car back. It belonged to a friend that just moved to island.
So wait, these piece of trash scumbags choose to assault you, rob you, and steal your vehicle. However the Uncle has the unfathomable AUDACITY to basically say to you ( the innocent victim ) that you are lucky you didn't turn his nephews in??? So you're supposed to say oh well, no biggie. I'll just turn a blind eye to this atrocity. We won't force these criminals to be held accountable whatsoever. Let's just let them off the hook completely. The Uncle and nephews all three absolutely disgust me.

It has nothing to do with where he was drafted.
It why he was drafted there and it's because he has elite speed and skill set and if he puts it together, he's a great asset.
Dyami doesn't have " elite " speed. He ran a 4.45 40 yard dash at his pro day. Just for comparison, our 260 pound dlineman Sweat ran a 4.41 electronic timed 40 at the combine. I'm not saying DBrown is slow or anything but his speed isn't close to elite. That's not the problem obviously. The problem is this is his 2nd season and he didn't flash in the preseason games at all. Versus 2nd, 3rd string, and soon to be mcdonald cashiers. It's a bit of a disappointment. I expect Jahan Dotson to blow Dyami away this year, statistically.

He played at TCU and had BIG legal problems. Assault & stuff like that. At least 2 counts. Was kicked off of TCU’s team. He not a good guy & all teams steered clear of him. He fits the Cows model perfectly. RR would not touch a guy like that, and I salute that honesty. I’m an old guy (60+) and things like that matter to me. That’s an issue I have with the Commander’s and our owner. Don’t want to go down that rabbit hole on this thread. Anyway, lived in Texas (DFW) during that time & he’s trouble, somewhere down the line, at some point.
I wasn't insinuating we should have signed him, per se. Just the overall lack of speed/talent that our team has, frustrates me. And our return game has looked like trash, in the preseason games.

Did we bring anyone in to compete with Slye this training camp? I'm starting to get worried. We all know what happens when a kicker gets the yips and it aint pretty. Could even wreck our season, potentially. Not saying that's the case here yet. Too soon for that but I am a tad bit concerned.

Our offensive line got manhandled but what else is new when we play the Ravens.
How is it physically possible for a team to even win 23 consecutive preseason games?? It's not like Harbaugh plays his starters the whole game. He's playing 2s and 3s and people who will be working at Home Depot next month just like everyone else! You'd think by a stroke of bad luck alone, that they'd lose one game during this preposterous streak.
-
Very frustrating to watch Dallas sign a USFL guy who looks like Tyreek Hill Jr, making guys look silly and using his blazing speed for punt return and kick return touchdowns. Meanwhile, our returners look slow, unathletic, and barely make it to the 20 yard line 😡😡😡

Ok, let's put the starters in and get a couple TD drives just to screw with Harbaugh.
Sadly their 2s and 3s would probably whup our 1s 🤣

Apparently he hasn't really missed in practice.
I still think you should always carry 2 kickers in camp. Just for a little competition.
I heard he hasn't looked good in training camp. I don't know though. I haven't been there.

With 3/5ths of their oline out, the " experts " still pick them at a 64% rate? Smh.
