  1. Is this karma after one of the Washington twitter pages laughed about how Brian Robinson came back faster after two gunshots than Dak, after a TB defender gave him a high 5? Obviously equating a powerful NFL qb arms follow through, smacking hard into a big, strong nfl players hand as he rushes the passer is ludicrous. This injury/play was almost exactly the same as what happened to Dak. How ironic.

If he's out 6 weeks, we should not see him the rest of the year.   By then Taylor is playing well and We're winning or it's time for Howell.

Atleast we will be able to see quickness and some speed from the qb position. Some elusiveness. Someone who can evade the blitz and run for 10 yards on 3rd and 8. I'm not saying this situation is a good thing. Just saying, I do look forward to that one aspect.

I think its fair to say Wentz is physically limited in terms of his mobility. Dude has all the speed of an iceberg.

It severely changes how a pass rush attacks him. You don't need a lot of rush lane discipline and rushers know exactly where he will be at all times. That's gotta open up the blitz playbook for opposing coordinators as well as you can get even more exotic w/o the worry of holes getting exploited. That makes things even harder on the Oline.

Have you ever seen a football player lose this much speed, agility, and quickness, while still in his 20s? It's unreal. Yea he's had injuries but who hasn't? It's mindblowing. He used to clown our defense, running around like the white Michael Vick. Now he runs around like Michael Moore.

Yeah Wentz has the worst combination of holding on to the ball too long, slow ish release time, and lack of mobiilty/athleticism.

I've never seen a qb look like he was going to win the Super Bowl then suffer an injury and suddenly can't hit 100 yards passing vs a bad Bears team. Well 99 yards is atrocious vs any team. Even the best D in the NFL. Granted he had an injury to his throwing arm and then hurt his hand but that was far from his only issues out there. Very troublesome.

3 seasons of excuses why we can't see Turner reach his potential.

Even with a better offensive line, that designed run for Wentz in the redzone tells me he doesn't know what he's doing. That was the moment I gave up on him.

That was truly ugly. Reminiscent of Refrigerator Perry running the ball for the Bears back in the day.

Yes. It'd be pretty exciting to have a mobile guy like Fields, who can take off for 50 yards if the pass rush doesn't wrap him up. Of course you'd want someone who reads defenses and is a better passer than the current Fields.

  5. Every August, I always convince myself that we're gonna be good. Even though, if I were a fan of another team or just an nfl fan in general, I would say " no way, they suck. " This past August I convinced myself that Wentz was going to play really, really well, shock all of his haters, and help our offense ( and it's added weapons ) thrive. Granted there is plenty of season left but I look pretty dag on foolish right now.  Wentz looks like he's completely and utterly mentally fried. He looks like he has no clue what he's doing. Even on basic concepts sometimes. It's so frustrating. I think Heinicke is better mentally right now, knowing this system in and out, and mobility wise but he has massive arm deficiencies. Meanwhile, Carson has a lot more physical talents arm-wise but he's compromised mentally and currently looks slower and less athletic than Rosie O Donnell 😢 Can we somehow morph the two together? If so, we might be a pretty good qb on our hands!!!

Who cares how close his FG was, he still made it. Not every FG is going to be 100% perfect. Struggling would be going on a streak of 2 or 3 misses in a row. Making a FG, that was made only by a millimeter, isn’t struggling.

It's just an indicator of him not being on his game. Much like with our qb, stats don't always tell the whole story. He was executing way better last year. Stevie Wonder can see that.  I watch kickers every Sunday, boom 57 - 60 yarders right down the middle. I'd like to have that with my favorite team for once in my life. We haven't had a year in, year out good, consistent kicker since Chip friggin Lohmiller, when I was 9 years old.

Has he struggled so far in the regular season? Hes 4/5…. That’s 80%. His only miss being last night.

He also made one last night literally by a millimeter. It was a very ugly kick. I also read reports that he struggled a lot in practice.

    That shot was ****ing $$$$

Seems to be the pattern of kickers that come here.....they look hot, stay for a while, then cool off and suck.   They leave and find success somewhere else....and we bring in someone else to repeat the same process all over again.

Don't even get me started on Justin Tucker....I mean Graham Gano. What a weapon he has become for the Giants 😡

Here's my take on the game.

It was gawd awful. If Washington played a half decent team, they never would have won. The Bears are pathetic. But so is Washington.

I don't have a great comfort level with Joey Slye. He has a strong leg but I worry about his accuracy. Time will tell.

When are we going to start using our tall tight ends and receiver in the end zone?

Scott Turner rarely calls a good game. There may be a few good plays but overall his play calling is underwhelming.

I LOVED hearing Al Michaels bashing Snyder. Every broadcaster needs to do this during every game. Don't let up.

Finally, it was nice seeing a center actually snapping the ball to the QB and not rolling it back to him. Welcome back Tyler Larsen!

I really don't know what is going on with Slye. He was very good for us last season. This year, he struggled in the preseason and now it has carried over into the regular season. Just add it to the list of frustrations surrounding the Commanders. Smh.
