  1. I was wondering why this isn't talked about? Redskins LB's are very weak overall. It hurts in stopping the run and covering short/mid range passes from the opponent. Plus, LB makes for a good QB(in calling the plays signaled from the sidelines) on the defensive side of the ball. For LB's I can only think of Davis, as who else do we have?
  2. The Cowboys are just about the same as years past. They improved their D immensely, but Dak still fails under pressure when playing against good teams. The 49ers/Eagles are the 2 teams the Cowboys have to get by in the playoffs, yet the Cowboys lost handily to both in their regular season match-ups.
  3. Talent makes a difference, but I don't think our players are small. If you have the right coaching, there are Schemes to make the players better.
  4. I actually like Romo because he's gives very good analysis, but Nance is a Nancy! The only problem I had with Romo today was him gobbling about how good a roster the Cowboys are to win the SB(at least 4 times he said it). It's just so foolish to proclaim that. Cowboys keep failing against the Eagles/49ers, and we know Dak constantly comes up short against the real good teams.
  5. No more trading up to get so n so better player! We have our QB, now we need players to PROTECT Sam! If a top O-line player is available in our draft spot, then we take him, other wise we should consider trading down and get more picks.
  6. We are so bad right now, this team could very well end up 4-13. The teams with worse records right now don't have the talent this team has. This season really has been a good deal about how bad the coaching has been.
  7. Jack@ss needed to be fired years ago! He was given good talent on D and wasted it. I would like to see a new DC who can game plan based on the talent he's given and maybe make LB's in the D relevant again. Maybe also this next DC has scheme's to disguise the D's weaknesses.
  8. Until this team can find another Beathard or Casserly, drafting and free agency are gonna continue varying in results.
  9. I'm so mixed on these trades of Young/Sweat. I kind of understand the expense to keep them after this season, but Jack@ss Del Rio and his D system need to go first! Even if we drafted the #1 pick in the draft, being a position on the D-side, Jack@ss would still screw it up!
  10. So who are some DC replacements for Jack@ss Del Rio?! Our LB's are garbage(that's on the GM), but JDR has not schemed good enough with the D talent we do have. Or will it not matter as long RR is here?
  11. Nah, that title belongs to the Detroit Lions.
  12. What's Johnson's kicking history? Is he another college kicker reject like Blewitt?
  13. So any idea who they are bringing in for tryouts? At the rate we are going changing kickers, they should probably have kicker tryouts once a week till Slye comes back.
  14. Slye was fairly good on kick-offs, 3 for 3 on FG's and 2 for 2 on xtra pts. That was 11 of the teams 29 points(37.9% of the teams scoring today). When was the last time that Hopkins made that difference for us? No missed FG's today gave no momentum to the Bucs!
  15. Didn't the Redskins draft Gano or was he an undrafted signee?
