I didn't try that hard, but I can't find any supporting evidence for David Johnston's claim that it is actually video from a Biden motorcade.  He's a journalist, and should know to back up the claim, but he didnt so far as I can tell.  And the assertion that "there are no maga hats" as proof is just as silly as Eric Trump's assertion that New Yorker's lining up and taking video of a motorcade is "love" for the people in the motorcade.  My guess it was a bunch of non-maga New Yorkers, for the most part, temporarily blocked by motorcade traffic, annoyed by it and videoing it so they can tweet about it later.  Whether it was Trump's or Biden's motorcade...who cares.  The only way it really matters is for Johnston and any other journalist to back up their claim that Eric Trump is actively telling untruths beyond relatively flimsy circumstantial evidence and the fact Eric Trump has a history of dishonesty over such matters.

I bought tickets to see Albert Pujols play in Washington (RFK) in his early Cardinals days. He got on base in the top of the first and either got picked off or caught stealing. Argued and got tossed.

It would make sense. Drop Rainey. Corbin takes that spot where he makes an appearance every few weeks. Davey only uses seven BP guys anyway. Cavalli may be ready around the same time as Gray. Just wrapped it up last night. Is it a true story though? The Martha character has been outed, but there’s no documented arrest record. People can’t figure out who Darrien is in real life. Is it a true story, or Gadd’s truth which may not be totally based in reality? 

It was difficult to watch, but an excellent, excellent show.

FWIW, Ty Cobb still thinks he’ll be convicted even after yesterday’s cross examination on Cohen. Ty Cobb as in Trump’s former lawyer, not the Georgia Peach.

I’m pretty disciplined about not watching the markets daily, and at the end of every month I take a snapshot of all our investments in a spreadsheet in order to have a record of allocation percentage and total asset values over time to help with trends and planning.

 

But when the market reaches a high I feel compelled to make an early update for this month. 🤣

 

 

I record at the end of each month, but I definitely check during the month frequently. But I know not to make changes to my overall approach.

In 2024, now 99% of MLB catchers are faster in pop time. This is who he is. He's slow at everything he does.

 

For reference, pop time is: "How quickly, in seconds, a catcher can get the ball out of his glove and to the base on a stolen base or pickoff attempt."

 

He's not an MLB level athlete.

• 99% of hitters have a faster bat speed than him. If he was on the qualified hitter list, he'd have the 4th slowest bat speed in all of baseball.
• 99% of catchers have a faster pop time.
• 97% of baserunners have a faster sprint speed than him.

Here's his 2024 statcast page. He swings so slowly that he's better at making contact with the ball. But that contact is terrible contact. So he doesn't strike out. Yay.

Is this chart career or just 2024?

I’m three episodes in. Yes, uncomfortable is the correct term for it. I’ve read a little where there are some blatant exaggerations/inaccuracies in it. I’ll read more, but I don’t want spoilers.

I had a roommate in college who experienced something loosely similar to the premise. It was awful.
