  1. I think it's pretty clear Howell will be the starter unless Jacoby is much better than him throughout camp. Looks a lot better for Rivera if we succeed with a young QB who could become the face of the franchise for a decade instilling hope and optimism for the fanbase and he would be a Rivera draft pick. Jacoby might be a great guy and an ok QB but everyone knows he isn't a dynamic QB and we all know his ceiling isn't very high so it doesn't look near as good for Ron if we grind out 9 wins with Jacoby managing games and letting the defense win it as it would with Sam making a playoff push in his first year starting and showing off a higher ceiling and more exciting style of QB play. If Jacoby is slightly better than Sam in camp, Sam is going to start.
  2. For the love of god... NO MORE DAY 2 RB SELECTIONS lol.... We have a gaping hole at LB and our offensive line was so consistently awful we probably had to eliminate half of our playbook due to the fact one of our offensive lineman would completely whiff on their block or get shoved strait into the QB's lap with 4.4 forty yard dash speed lol. I seriously will never understand why half our fans would burn early picks year in and year out on a position group we are already pretty set at and also a position group that is not important anyway
  3. Hey now! I'd be willing to bet Mline DOUBLES his yards per return average this year and possibly triples it thanks to the unwavering and world class leadership and coaching of one Ronald Rivera
  4. That's what I hate about how Ron approaches the draft. Seems like almost every pick we could have traded down, sometimes traded back a full round or two and still would have had a really good chance to get the players Ron reached for and didn't take the free draft capital that was there for the taking. The trade in the 1st round last year was a good move but other than that Ron is terrible at the trading aspect of the job. We normally get ripped off, use draft capital on players like Kyle Allen, or just reach way to far in the draft instead of looking to maximize value. The Eagles know exactly how to maximize their draft capital and it's frustrating.
  5. I kind of HATE the fact that the majority of fans seem to think trading down is usually a dumb move... I would almost ALWAYS look to trade down in the first round unless I had a great QB or elite player at a position of need. Stockpile those picks and take your chances with 3 solid players in the late 1st-2nd round instead of putting all your eggs in one basket for a player who could bust or tear and ACL in training camp in the blink of an eye and you just lost essentially your first three picks in a draft in a second.
  6. To me it means they probably have a 4th round grade on the QB but since QB is so important they would take him in the second round but can't justify reaching all the way to the first round
  7. I was trying to tell people this during the season. He's a video game glitch. I'm a UNC fan and Sam just about gave us a heart attack every game never sliding and challenging LB's head on but he just kind of slowly keeps gaining yards while he bounces off massive dude after massive dude. It was bizarre to watch honestly... Hard to explain but just watch this video and you will see what I mean.
  8. I mean I'm a massive UNC fan and would say this no matter what but.... I told you guys... Howell is going to be a really good QB in the NFL.. His work ethic and calm demeaner are perfect for growing in the NFL and he's a gamer that loves his teammates and wants to win.
  9. Hey that 1 win was a damn fine win though lol
  10. YESSSSSS WE ARE FINALLY MIDDLE CLASS BABYYYY
  11. Bro what was he thinking?? They were clearly about to spike the ball... Like what was he trying to accomplish being lined up anywhere near the line of scrimmage? That reminded me of Ridgeway roughing the snapper on a chip shot FG where we had no chance of blocking it. Sometimes our situational awareness is shockingly lacking. Like, the downside of you getting called for this penalty FAR outweighs whatever benefit you are trying to obtain lol
  12. Man Seattle finishes the season with 4 home games and 1 road game?... NFL schedule seems wild this year. On another note I'm getting really pissed off I haven't been able to stay home and watch my commies here in Raleigh at all this year... The only games on TV here have been our thursday and monday games. They have been showing San Fran vs :LA and west coast teams the few weeks the Panthers haven't played in our slot. I think they are punishing Snyder. Basically my entire life we have been on TV here every week we haven't been in Panthers time slot.

  14. Just need to trade out of 2023 first round and make sure we have ammo to go up and get my boy Drake Maye in 2024. I love me some Sam Howell but Drake already works through progressions like he was a senior and makes NFL all over the field with ease. He's 6'4 and 220 pounds and also is leading UNC in rushing yards lol. He's going to easily break the ACC passing TD record for a single season and looking at his stats and the fact that we are 8-1 while without him we'd be a losing team, he should win the heisman if he keeps going at this pace. He has almost no weaknesses besides holding the ball a little to long and he also sucks at sliding.
