Other than maybe Sam, will there really be any players Ron acquired that will be here in 2 years.  I expect a complete overhaul of the roster because Ron built nothing.

I would bet only Howell, Davis, and Allen (hometown kid). I'm higher on Howell and Davis than most, I understand the opposition. Payne and McLaurin will leave for a contender. This team sucks all around.

Need to add though that Allen, Payne, McLaurin, and Fuller are all Gruden guys. Howell, Davis, and Curl are the only decent players Ron brought in. As bad as our secondary is, I would let Curl walk. He has to be contributing to some of that **** show.

i don’t agree , there roster a joke and unfortunately our coaching staff keeps making them look good . They have one of the worst rosters in the nfl and it’s evident by there record

Respect your opinion, but not sure what you are seeing. We have the 31st ranked defense in the league. We made noodle arm DeVito look like a franchise QB with wide open receivers and missed tackling. Our secondary and linebackers are trash. Worst in the NFL.

Offense is hard to judge with how bad our o-line is. I would take the Giants backup tackles over our starters. Obviously Waller over Thomas, Barkley over Robinson. Wide receiver is a tie.

The truth can be hard to accept, but this team sucks!!!

  3. Giants are just better all around. Better o-line, linebackers, secondary, tight ends, running back, receivers tend to get open more than ours. They've suffered this season with horrible QB play (except against us).  They are a QB and WR away from being very good.  They will take either Williams, Maye, or Nix.

We have a long ways to go.  This team needs a complete rebuild starting with o-line and linebackers.  Everything is on the table.  I'm a big Howell fan, but I seriously mean everything.

I understand the idea and for the long term it probably is in our best interest, but I also want Howell to be rewarded with wins for his good play and the season is too short for me to be looking at draft status in November.

I agree. The media is not buying into Howell because of our record. Not that it really matters what others think. But whenever I try and tell other fans how good Howell is, they respond with he is not a winner. I'm getting tired of it, but the honest truth is that he needs wins to get recognition.

Incredible experience for Howell to generate game tying drives in Seattle and against Philly.

The fumble was a bummer, but that final drive was nice.

    I’m a believer.

The fumble was another mistake Howell will learn from and get better. It's a shame that the young QB seems to run harder than anyone else. Everyone else was just standing around watching him drag 2 Seahawks. If we had players helping him we could have recovered the fumble.

The team needs a complete overhaul. But, we have our QB. In a much better position than most teams.

EB was came here thinking it would lead to a head coaching gig.  Well, it will lead to the opposite. Either being unemployed in 24, or a demotion to just a position coach.

He's proven he's no OC and definitely no head coach.

Disagree. I actually think EB is the front runner. When an OC and QB  combo pass for over 300 yards EVERY game, then you have the foundation to win in an offense driven league.

This team just needs OL and LBs and I think we will be very competitive. I don't trust Ron to draft anybody.

Howell is better than Purdy. Purdy benefits from insane talent around him. His game has gone to doo doo once some of those guys started getting hurt.

Agree, I would rather have Howell. Howell is stronger and harder to tackle. I would say they are equally mobile.

Purdy has a very high IQ. I just think Howell has a higher ceiling.

I'm still in the "wait and see but he's trending upwards" camp on Howell, but can stop pretending that the Patriots aren't putrid on defense?  I don't think yesterday's game should be used as any indication that he's definitely the guy.  I would have said both Eagles games were much better barometers to use.

Howell tied with Tua threw for the most yards against the Pats defense all season (both had 325 yds).  Ahead of Hurts, Prescott, and Allen.  I also counted multiple drop passes.  The NFL is week to week, but the Pats defense isn't putrid.

Bruh, we’ve got some idiot fans. Let em be. I don’t even talk to people whose logic is ‘he ain’t Mahommes so cut bait.’ Cant express how happy I am they’re no longer in the front office either.  Good googlie mooglie!

The irony is that Howell played much better than Mahomes yesterday. Some of these fans man....

(And no, I'm not saying Howell is Mahomes, just proving a point).

I’m not sure how one can walk away from a game where our guy in his 9th start, with a defense giving up 30+ per week, throws over 50 times for 400 and 4 scores, and have anything even remotely negative to say about it.

Because some people just don't like him for whatever reason. Instead they would rather look foolish complaining about one bad play in a nearly flawless game by a 23 year old young QB against the best team in the NFL.

  11. Howell is now top 5 in passing yards and touchdowns. Even if you take into account that we haven't had a bye, he's still easily top 10. If he continues to cut down on sacks (today was a huge step forward) we really have something. If we keep losing and draft a top LT, we will be solid heading into the rebuild. Should be a desirable place for the next GM and HC.

Never said he didn't make incredible throws.

I just disagree you can throw that pick at that point and time in the game and consider it being a "great" game.

I don't think any QB could be considered to have a great game and throw a pick that is the reason you lose the lead and ultimately never get it back and lose.

Howell just played his 9th game! Hurts had some duds earlier in his career. Washington fans would have canned Hurts if we had him. You really, really cannot ask for a better game from a rookie QB. The defense sucks, wide outs aren't helping. Howell can be better, but not nearly what's holding this team back.
