No innovation whatsoever with our play calling. Hard to believe just a few short weeks ago we thought that this offense was good enough to compete for a playoff spot and carry the defense. Sad thing is we have weapons even with this patched up Oline. Would be interesting to see what someone like Andy Reid could do with this same offensive roster

I swear this team can't get out of its own way with the penalties. Every year it feels like we are the highest penalized team in the league

I've been able to watch him a lot the last couple years and the announcers were absolutely right about him being a true QB on the defensive side of the ball. He's also a ball hawk on almost every play. Skill set I'd say I wouldn't expect a generational player, but he would be a immediate upgrade to the defense and one of those guys that's a fixture at that position for a long time to come. Most definitely agree with you here, especially if we are rolling with Ron and Turner for 2023. If we hold on to the same coaching staff but picking top 5 then this would be a good year to build some draft capital and address OL, LB and CB. This is a good QB class so if we're picking high then we should have no problem finding a QB hungry team desperately trying to trade up.

Not claiming to be a counselor, but in my unprofessional opinion, I'd say you are somewhere between the stages of denial and grief. I will get easier once you reach the stage of numbness like so many of us are in 🤣

Can you imagine after everything that has happened within this franchise over the past 25 years because of General Snyder that the one who took him down was Bruce Allen??? I swear to God he could lead the celebration parade and even get his old job back exclusively running the harvest festival lol

What we should do is just build up our Oline, and defense these next few drafts, then completely tank the 2025 season and grab Arch Manning with the #1 pick in 2026. Might be our easiest path to a superbowl in our lifetime lol 🤣🤣

So going into the upcoming draft without counting free agency and other moves, our biggest needs in no particular order is OL, LB, CB with the possibility of being in position to grab one of the top QBs. Obviously the QB position is still up in the air with regards to Wentz, plenty of time still for a turnaround although I'm really losing faith of that happening. I guess depending on our draft position and where the QBs grade, I feel if we can get him then pull the trigger. It really sucks that not only is LB a glaring hole with talent but now we have major issues with the Oline.

SIP what are your thoughts on CJ Stroud? Have you seen enough of him to say he's the top QB coming out this year? Me personally, I really like Young, he checks most of the boxes, I just can't get past his small frame and have my questions of how long he'll be able to hold up in the pros, especially behind a O-line like ours.

I'm sure this game will break some all time TV ratings for a 1pm Sunday game. Millions upon millions will tune in to the NFL game of the year. Commanders will continue the March to the #1 overall pick..... Titans 19 Commanders 12 We will miss a extra point and fail at a two point conversion

Coming back to this thread once again. I remember a time that nothing could ruin my week more than a lose to the Cowturds. Today I feel absolutely nothing, no anger no nothing. I guess I truly don't care. At least until General Snyder cleans house and hires the next retread coach, then it'll be back to hope spring eternal until that crashes like all the rest.

I have nothing of any value to inject in this thread that hasn't already been covered. We are BAD, just a terrible organization from the owner to the water boy. This organization lacks leadership from its owner, it lacks coaching on both sides of the ball including individual positions, it lacks talent, enthusiasm, discipline and so on and so on. As someone mentioned earlier, we are just plain boring. Have we hit rock bottom yet??? If not then we have to be awfully close.

I still care to the point where I come here and get my news and latest scoop. I still care enough to cut the game on every Sunday, mainly out of habit. No longer do I get emotionally wrapped up during the game, if we win I know it's fools gold, if we lose I'm numb to it because it's what we've basically done since the early to mid 90s. The Golden Era of Joe Gibbs is long gone, a distant memory. Now we are stuck in Dan Snyder hell, and it looks like he's here for eternity. I still hold out hope, deep down that Snyder is forced to sell, and one of these years the road to the Superbowl will once again run through D.C.

I would keep this coaching staff for 5 more years if it meant Dan Snyder selling the team and firing himself.
